Overview
Wyatt is a gentle and sweet kitten who enjoys sitting back and watching others rather than jumping in the middle of everything. He was raised to be polite and respectful, as long as respect is deserved. His parents, aunt, and grandparents made sure that he knew he did NOT have to respect anyone, even his elders, if they had done something unkind to him or others and thus did not deserve respect. Nevertheless, his default is to be respectful, polite, and obedient towards others. Thus far, no one has done anything to make him distrust them, so he assumes that all adults are worthy of his obedience and respect.
He enjoys following his parents and his aunt around the farm, learning how they care for the plants and happily lending a helping paw as he gets bigger and is capable of helping. He doesn't talk much unless he has something important to say, a question to ask, or someone has asked him a question that requires more than a nod or shake of the head. He often takes his time to answer questions or figure out how to word whatever question he has. Thus far, the adults around him have been patient and waited for what he has to say, though some of the other kids his age get tired of waiting and move on with whatever they had been doing. Wyatt is unperturbed by this, merely shrugging and continuing on with what he had been doing as well.
He is growing by leaps and bounds, already the size of an average adult cat at 8 months old. His paws and ears seem almost too big for his body - he often trips over his paws, and his balance is not the best so he tends to faceplant a lot. He can also tend to be distracted by watching something else that's going on, not looking where he's going. He's gotten underfoot and somewhat trampled a few times thanks to this, but he takes it all in stride. Overall, he is an easygoing, quiet little lad who just wants to help out. He loves his family and really looks up to his aunt Gwen, and would like to experience the world outside the farm and get the chance to meet a lot of other cats!

History
Born to Jebediah (father; a Maine Coon) and Mary Beth (mother; a Highlander); has two siblings: Sawyer (brother) and Maisie (sister).
Lives on a farm of sorts - the cats who live there cultivate and tend for plants that are beneficial to the cats (medicinal herbs/plants and plants that add nutrients to their diet).
The other cats on the farm are mostly family - Jebediah's sister Guinevere, their parents Gideon and Giovanna, with a few other relatives and friends who settled down with them to help tend the plants.
The farm cats trade their plants with the nearby colonies; they have a good relationship with these colonies.
Wyatt and his siblings are raised well by his family; they are given love and all their needs are met, though the family is not very outgoing or physical in their affection with each other.
Wyatt is an agreeable kitten who only gets in trouble if he goes along with his more wild and rebellious sister Maisie; he spends most of his time either wandering around in the woods or following his aunt Gwen around and learning from her how to take care of the plants on the farm.
While he is very young, a young cat named Wander comes to live at the farm for a little while, helping with the plants as thanks for Wyatt's family letting her stay.
Wyatt becomes good friends with Wander, nicknaming them Bug because they love bugs just as much as Wyatt does.
Wander decides to leave and promises to find lots of cool bugs for Wyatt and bring them back for him to see; Wyatt is sad to see them go but is excited about the potential new bugs Wander might bring back.
Sadly, Wander never returns; the adults worry and assume the worst, but Wyatt is too young and sheltered to understand the dangers of the outside world.
Wyatt misses his friend but eventually forgets, as children do, and moves on with life.
Helps out as much as he can on the farm, growing like a weed as he gets older; as he gets bigger he's allowed to help his aunt Gwen with more difficult farm tasks.
One day they see a giant silver tiger off in the distance; Wyatt is entranced and cannot stop thinking about how cool and shiny and pretty the giant tiger was.
No one knows what to make of this and eventually just continue about their lives.
(Event #1 Starts here!) Not long after, Wyatt is out playing by himself in the woods when he experiences a strange Event.
A sparkling white portal of light appears above the pond that Wyatt is checking around for cool bugs; distracted by the pretty lights, Wyatt almost splashes over to check it out, but decides to stand back and observe instead.
Where the light had appeared, the water suddenly shoots up into the air in a column, going higher than three of Wyatt's dads stacked on top of each other; the water then freezes, starting from the top and slowly freezing its way down towards the pond.
Wyatt is amazed, and stares at the unusual sight for several long moments before the water slowly melts and sinks down into the pond; the light is gone, and the water goes back to normal, as if nothing had ever happened. (Event #1 ends here!)
Wyatt tries to tell his family about what he had seen when he returns home later, but they don't believe him, thinking he is just being over-imaginative.
(Event #2 starts here!) With his family not believing him, Wyatt starts to doubt what he had seen himself; he doesn't think about it after that, until one day he is playing in the woods with his siblings and they hear a terrible sound and shouting from the nearby farm.
They all run back to see what is going on, just in time to see fiery wind destroying their dens and the plants they had so carefully cultivated.
The kittens are terrified and don't know what to do; thankfully Giovanna finds them and rounds them up, herding them to safety and protecting them with her body.
Wyatt is very scared, not sure what is going on; he watches his aunt Gwen save his dad from being crushed by a tree that had been knocked over in what could only be called a fire tornado.
Like the Event Wyatt had seen, it is over very quickly; their farm is destroyed but no one is seriously hurt. (Event #2 ends here!)
Wyatt and the rest of his family are very shaken, but thankfully the cats in the surrounding colonies are willing to help them rebuild.
Wyatt overhears one of the cats from the colonies talking about something called the "Holocene"; when he asks what that is, he finds out that it is a group of cats that can supposedly do magic? He isn't sure what magic exactly is, but he understands that it has something to do with the giant tiger they had seen.
With the knowledge that the Holocene are trying to help fix whatever had caused the strange Event that had destroyed his home, Wyatt speaks to his parents about wanting to go talk to the Holocene and see if he can help.
His parents refuse to let him go, saying it is too dangerous, but his aunt Gwen speaks up and says she'll go with him; they will be careful and see if there is anything they can do to help, so nothing like that would happen again.
Wyatt's parents reluctantly agree, so Wyatt and Aunt Gwen set off to find the Holocene and offer their help in this quest to right whatever is going so terribly wrong with the magic in the world.
Wyatt isn't sure what's going to happen, but he hopes he can help his family and any other cats that might get hurt by the magic going haywire.

(I wrote a lot, oops)
FIRST EVENT
(Wyatt Alone)
"Make sure to come back by supper, dear," Mary Beth, Wyatt's mother, called after him as he left their den, intent on exploring out by the pond to see what bugs were out and about.Wyatt waved his short little tail at her to let her know he had heard, belatedly calling back, "Yes, ma'am!" before he scampered across the farm in the direction of the woods that surrounded the fields. He called a soft greeting to his aunt Gwen as he passed her working alongside his father Jebediah in the field. He had already spent part of the morning helping them before having a snack and a nap, and now he was ready to go out and explore. He hadn't seen his siblings - they were probably also out playing, but Wyatt didn't spare them another thought. His brain was too full of the potential bugs he might find.Reaching the small pond in the midst of the woods, Wyatt started gently flipping over leaves, rocks, and bits of wood to see what creatures were living out their little lives under them. A few minutes after the start of his exploration, however, Wyatt was distracted by a small flash of white light out of the corner of his eye. Curious, he turned to look, eyes wide as he perceived the pretty light hovering over the center of the pond.Wyatt, awestruck by the portal of light, lifts a paw and almost steps into the pond towards the light. The pond thankfully wasn't very deep, but Wyatt paused before actually stepping towards the light. While he had never seen or heard about anything like this light before, he was naturally cautious in nature. He decided to just observe and maybe move around to see it from another angle, but before he could move, the light flickered and the water beneath it started to ripple.Wyatt craned his neck to see if a fish or a frog was causing the ripple, but couldn't see anything despite the relatively clear water. In fact, it seemed like the pond-dwelling creatures were giving the light a wide berth. Before he could think much more about why that might be, the rippling turned into a fountain of water shooting up into the air. If Wyatt had to describe the height that it reached, he would have said that it was as tall as three Jebediah's stacked on top of each other (close to 4 feet tall).Tilting his head back to see the pillar of water, Wyatt lost his balance a little and had to sit down, plopping his bottom onto the moist ground around the rim of the pond. His mouth dropped open in awe as the water pillar started to freeze with a loud CRACK! The ice started from the top and worked its way back down towards the pond, though it only froze the pillar and a small area of the pond under where the light had appeared. The frozen pillar of water remained motionless and unchanging for a few more heartbeats before with several more cracking sounds, the water defrosted as quickly as it had first frozen, splashing back down into the pond and leaving nothing but a few ripples to show that it had even happened. The light had disappeared, and as the ripples settled down, the fish and other little creatures who lived in the pond returned to the center and went about their business as usual.Wyatt, amazed by what he had seen, was not frightened in the slightest as a more timid kitten might have been. When it was over and nothing else seemed to be happening, he returned to his search for cool bugs. It wasn't until his stomach started growling that he remembered his mother telling him to be back by dinner. He rushed home, only tripping over some twigs a couple of times on his way out of the woods.Upon arriving back home, he didn't think about the strange Event he had seen until he'd gotten down a few mouthfuls of his dinner. Making sure to finish chewing and swallowing his food, Wyatt flicked his big tufted ears forward to get his parents' attention."Yes, dear?" Mary Beth asked, delicately wiping her muzzle with a paw, "What is it?"Jebediah didn't say anything, but he did pause his eating and turn to give Wyatt his attention. Wyatt's siblings, however, continued eating, not concerned with whatever Wyatt had to say just yet.Now that he had his parents' attention, Wyatt paused to gather his thoughts, wanting to describe what he had seen clearly, "When I was by the pond earlier, I saw this light above the water..." he started, trying to think of what the light had resembled. At his mother's encouraging nod, he described what he had seen, waving his paw in the air to express how the water had shot up from the pond and attempting to mimic the sound of the ice cracking. His parents listened patiently until he had finished, an indulgent smile gracing his mother's face and his father giving a little chortle before continuing eating his food. His siblings had paused to listen at certain points during his retelling, but seemed to have decided food was more important at the moment."I'm glad you had a fun time playing in the woods, sweetheart," Mary Beth purred, "It sounds like you had an exciting imaginary adventure. Next time you'll have to invite Sawyer and Maisie, I'm sure they'd have fun playing that too."Wyatt frowned, not sure what his mother meant, "Huh? I wasn't playing, though. It really did happen..."Jebediah and Mary Beth shared an amused glance before Mary Beth nodded, "Of course, dear, I'm glad you had fun. You'll have to tell Aunt Gwen about it when you see her."Wyatt's ears drooped as he mumbled agreement, not sure why his parents didn't believe him. He didn't know how to make them understand that what had happened was real, not some game he had come up with. Unsure of how to continue, he decided to think about it before coming up with how to make them believe he was telling the truth. Pondering that, he slowly started to eat the rest of his meal. Maybe Aunt Gwen would believe him.
SECOND EVENT
(Come up with by Wing, Gwen's owner)
Wyatt and his siblings were playing chase n' pounce in the woods surrounding their farm, laughing and having a great time, when a loud, scary sound startled them. They all froze in place, ears flicking to try and figure out what was making such a loud sound. When the panicked shouts of familiar cats followed the scary sounds, Wyatt and Maisie started running back towards home, Sawyer following along behind them. The chaos they discovered was terrifying. A tornado-like funnel of wind was cutting through the fields they called home, but that wasn't even the scariest part of it. Fire was wrapped up in the wind, scorching the plants and the ground as the tornado whipped around. Branches were torn off the trees by the force of the wind, which were then set on fire and tossed across the fields, setting some of the plants ablaze. The kittens huddled together in a terrified pile, not sure what to do. The adults were trying to avoid the fire tornado and get to safety, calling out to each other in a panic. Thankfully, Giovanna, their grandmother, spotted them as she was trying to get Gideon to leave the crops and move to safety. She immediately rushed over to them, pushing them gently but firmly towards the hills that bordered one side of their farm."This way, loves," she yowled to be heard above the sound of the tornado and the other cats yelling, "Quickly now!"The kittens allowed themselves to be herded to a dip in the ground a good distance away, curling up close to each other as Giovanna covered them with her much larger body, protecting them from any burning debris that was being tossed their way. Wyatt watched with wide, shocked eyes from under his grandmother's belly fur as a burning tree gave way to the powerful wind, falling directly towards Jebediah. Thankfully, Guinevere was nearby and managed to shove her brother out of the way of danger. Neither seemed to be hurt, so Wyatt breathed a small, shaky sigh of relief. The Event was over quickly, the fire tornado disappearing as fast as it had appeared. Some plants and fallen branches were still smoldering, but even those were quickly going out, leaving behind a lot of destruction. Their farm was destroyed, the plants and dens scorched. Huddling under his grandmother with his still-terrified siblings, Wyatt wasn't sure what they were going to do to fix this, but he knew that he would do his best to help, however he could.

Larkspur (The Final Testament)
Her courage burned like a fire through her veins, a feeling of power building in her core and distracting her from the words of the others as they shot back threats at Lilith and her awful Sect of Shadows. She did catch what Caspian said about Lilith not being able to have Declan, and the anger in her burned hotter in agreement.CHIN UP.Lark raised her head, keeping her ears pinned in a visible sign of her rage, a feeling unfamiliar but at this moment not unwelcome. She took a step forward, claws peeking out from the fluff of her paws as she took her place next to the others.YOU'LL GET THROUGH THIS.Lark felt as if there was lightning in her fur. It stood on end, sizzling with power. The same power seemed to pulse in her paws, claws digging into the ashes that were scattered across the floor. She felt that if she focused hard enough, she could set the place ablaze, so strong was her feeling of righteous anger. The feelings built, and Lark felt more and more powerful. Good, she thought, I will protect them, no matter what, in any way that I can.Her frantic looking around for help earlier had shown that there was nothing here she could use to protect the others. With this power building in the center of her very being, she knew that help would not come from the area around her, but from within her. She could call for help, could summon help. The moment the word “summon" worked its way through her mind, Lark had a sudden idea. She pictured the demon that they had met earlier, who had given Malachi his lovely amulet. Her demon friend had been powerful, but had been kind enough to let them pass earlier--surely, if this power she felt building allowed her to call upon it, it would help them. With the image of the demon in her mind, she focused all this new power she was accumulating on reaching out for it, summoning it to her. It was crazy, but something told her that if she tried hard enough, it might just work.“Please,” she whispered under her breath, squinting her eyes shut as she tried with all her might to call on her demon friend, “Please, we really need help… I have to keep them safe!”
